His unusual background combines military discipline, systems optimization at scale, deep technical expertise, and a natural teaching gift. Early Career & Military Service
Chris graduated college with a degree and a Third Mate’s license from the US Coast Guard. A Navy scholarship helped pay for school. Once in the Navy, flying proved more appealing than driving ships, so he spent six years as a Naval Flight Officer navigating jets from aircraft carriers.

Maritime Operations
After fulfilling his scholarship commitment, Chris resigned his commission and spent nearly 15 years in the maritime industry. He held roles including Vessel Planner, Port Captain, Boarding Agent, and Marine Manager. The work involved long hours in all weather and at all times of day or night.
Ships are no respecters of personal schedules.
During that time he refined cargo operation systems, making them more efficient and effective. In the process he saved his employers millions of dollars in operational costs.

Shift to Online & WordPress
Looking for a creative outlet, Chris started his first blog in 2005. Within months he bought a domain, opened web hosting, and moved the blog to WordPress. He quickly discovered an inner technical aptitude he had not known existed.
Friends began asking for help with their own sites. His wife Lisa (a very wise lady) eventually suggested that if he was going to spend that much time at the computer, he should get paid for it.
That led to the founding of SuccessCREEations, Inc. in September 2007. Chris left his full-time maritime job on the last day of that same year.
What this means for clients
WordPress changed the course of Chris and Lisa’s lives. It gave them flexibility and reach. Today that same passion drives our work helping organizations use the internet to grow their influence and impact.
Ministry, Missionary Work & Training
Chris and Lisa are ordained ministers. In addition to the business they lead their nonprofit ministry, NewCREEations. They lived in Scotland for several years as self-supported missionaries, where they established and directed a campus of an international Bible College.
It came as a surprise in 2021 when they felt called to “pass the baton” and return to the United States. They settled in Kentucky and rebranded the business as Kingdom House Productions to better reflect its current focus.
Being the son of a high school teacher, Chris has always had a natural ability to explain complex subjects in simple, practical language. That teaching gift strengthened the Bible college campus and now complements every website project.

Kingdom House Productions Today
After returning to America the business expanded beyond websites to other forms of digital publishing, including books, audio, and video content. The core focus remains helping organizations reach larger audiences efficiently through high-performance WordPress solutions and ongoing support.
Personal Notes
Chris has no problem getting up to speak in front of large groups of people or video cameras. In fact he’s got a little bit of an actor bug and at one point dreamed of acting in some feature films.
His two favorite food groups are coffee and chocolate, but not necessarily in that order.
